Rato Machhindranath chariot festival (Photo Feature)
Lalitpur, 25 April (2023) - The chariot festival of Rato Machhindranath is one of the major attractions in Kathmandu valley.
Observed in the ancient town of Lalitpur, the annual chariot procession lasts for around two months from April to June. The chariots are constructed with wooden frames at Pulchowk. The sky-scraping chariot goes around the city after four days of the ascension of God.
