RSS photo exhibition to begin today
Kathmandu, 25 May (2023) - Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) is hosting a photo exhibition from today onward on the occasion of the Republic Day, 2080.
The exhibition entitled 'Our Culture, Our Heritage' will display the photos earlier disseminated by RSS reflecting diverse cultural aspects of Nepal.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma is inaugurating the exhibition to take place at RSS central office at Bhadrakali Plaza.
The exhibition will continue up to May 31. The exhibition will display different 78 photos showcasing cultures and heritages of all seven provinces of the country and Kathmandu Valley.
The photos in exhibition are about different festivals, processions, fair, temples, monasteries and religious shrines which in a way portray cultural diversities of Nepal. The photos put up in the exhibition were captured by RSS photo journalists and were also disseminated earlier through RSS network.
RSS executive chair Dharmendra Jha expressed his confidence that the photo exhibition will contribute to unite diverse castes, ethnicities, languages, communities and religions of the country for the national cause.
RSS has been organizing such events on special occasions, including its anniversary.
RSS deputy general manager Shyam Rimal has coordinated the event.
