Government allocates more than 22 billion rupees for Kathmandu-Terai expressway
Kathmandu, 29 May (2023) - The government has announced the allocation of 22 billion 500 million rupees for the construction of Kathmandu-Terai expressway.
While making public the annual budget 2023/24 in the joint parliament meeting on Monday, Minister of Finance Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat allocated budget for expressway with priority.
He also announced the allocation of 5 billion and 180 million rupees for Nagdhunga Tunnel in Kathmandu.
The budget has also incorporated plans for building flyovers in Koteshwor, Satdobato and Ekantakuna in Kathmandu valley.
